Unless I choose to go for a bold lip color, the only thing that ever really changes with my beauty routine, even for a night out, is my eye makeup. When it comes to being careful in the sun, I’m pretty good at practicing what I preach. I spend a lot of time on this blog going on and on about wearing sunscreen and staying protected, but that’s really only half of the battle. Recently I started feeling kind of guilty that after all that hoopla I’d never actually had a skin cancer screening. The truth is, I was kind of terrified of doing it! I am notorious in my family for being a sunscreenaholic. (In fact, I’ve been known to chase after my brother and dad on vacation with Neutrogena spray-on sunscreen, spraying and laughing maniacally while they flee my attempts).
