This year I have not been doing enough reviews - I admit… But I have tried and discovered for myself some outstanding products and I thought it would be a good idea to do each year a roundup of the products that I consider best in various categories. This year Glee’s leading lady Lea Michele went for a classic look with a twist: Her playfully messy side-chignon perfectly complemented her ultra-feminine Oscar de la Renta gown while her minimal approach to makeup proved that less can be more.
For Lea’s lips, makeup artist Melanie Inglessis paired Lancome’s L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolour in Exotic Orchid with La Laque Fever Lipshine in Chromed Pink. The result: A pretty pink pout that isn’t too matchy matchy with the dress!
To create a fresh complextion, Inglessis used Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Concealer. Then she dusted Tropiques Minerale Loose Bronzer over the entire face and added a touch of Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose on the cheeks for a rosy glow. On the eyes, Inglessis used Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Taupe Craze (out in February) and Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara in Black.
