I might still be coming down from my fashion high due to seeing Chloe Sevigny on the street a few days before the Met Ball, but I am literally obsessed with her look from this year’s gala. She always pushes the fashion limit, and she gets it right every time. Chloe’s teal lace Proenza Schouler dress was a perfect combination of vintage class with modern flare, and don’t even get me started on her sky-high black platform stilettos! Lancome makeup artist Daniel Martin gave Chloe a runway beauty look for the big red carpet event. “We amped up Chloe’s lashes with tons of Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara in Excessive Black,” says Martin. The highlight of this look is definitely Chloe’s pink lips. Martin applied Pout-a-Porter Le Rouge Absolu lipstick in Proenza Pink, a bubblegum shade that was first introduced on the Proenza runway in Spring 2007 and sold out in two weeks! Martin calls the finished palette a “raver school girl look.” Frederic Fekkai celebrity stylist Cosma DiMarins gave Chloe a pinned-back, messy up-do that highlighted the funky cut-out design in the back of her dress. I love how she had some wavy pieces in front of her face, because the look is achievable and young. The short dress, youthful makeup, and laid-back hair are the perfect trifecta to achieve high-fashion glam that translates to the red carpet.

Last night I trekked down to the Chelsea Whole Foods to meet supermodel Kate Dillon and Suki, the creator of Suki organic beauty products!
