She may play the scheming and devious Quinn Fabray, ex-captain of the cheerleading squad (the “Cheerios”) on Glee, but in real life, actress Dianna Agron couldn’t be sweeter. “Playing Quinn is so much fun! Especially in the beginning, she was just so evil–” says the 24-year-old, pausing midsentence to wave to a tour group passing through the show’s TV studio.
A ballet dancer since age three, Dianna grew up fantasizing about performing in musicals like her childhood idol Audrey Hepburn. After graduating from high school, the San Francisco native headed south to Los Angeles to give acting a shot. It took patience for her to land her dream role, though: “You need a really thick skin in this business. During the writers’ strike, I didn’t work for a full year,” she admits.
