Oh man! Last night I stopped by the grand opening party of the new American Eagle Outfitters Flagship Store in Times Square, and it was insane! The store itself is three levels of cozy knits, tees, and undies, and opening night festivities included designing your own trucker hat or hoodie (the party was literally packed to the gills, so we were sadly unable to customize any goodies). The high point, however, was watching Leighton Meester perform a few songs, including her new single “Somebody To Love.” Looks like B is trying to stray from her prim UES image - check out those leggings!! Before she hit the stage, Pete Wentz was on hand to DJ as we all boogied and chowed down on delicious mini-cupcakes. Personally, I’m a big fan of AE’s Aerie line, and am totally psyched that we now have their flagship just a stone’s throw from Teen Vogue HQ! i??A Read the rest of this entry »
I was on my way to the office this morning, zooming down Fifth Avenue in a cab when I noticed that a LOT of stores already have their Christmas displays up! The holidays are imminent… I’m excited about because, really, who doesn’t love Christmas… However, I’m also dreading holiday shopping! My mom, I have to say, is the hardest person to shop for. She has everything already… But she doesn’t have this crazy-cute mini (each bottle is .12 oz) set of Chanel fragrances! I am so picking this up for her… $105, Chanel.com. T-minus three days ’til Twilight!! I cannot tell a lie: I am SUPER PSYCHED for New Moon and am going to see it not once but twice (the NYC premiere on Thursday with Style Blogger Andrew Bevan and Friday with my college bestie).
At the LA premiere last night, Ashley Greene looked super pretty. For your reading (and beauty) pleasure, here’s the breakdown of her look from makeup artist Vanessa Scali! Read the rest of this entry »

Whenever we have health problems we usually look for a quick solution. It’s very easy to rush off to the chemist or drugstore and pick up a medicine that will do the trick. Although this may make you better for a short time the problem with pharmaceuticals is they they don’t get to the root of the problem. Garlic one of the oldest known medicinal plants is a natural antifungal so let’s have a look at how it can help fight off your yeast infection.
After my prolonged experiment with bushy brows I came to the point where my situation looked more “Where the Wild Things Are” than “Blue Lagoon.” It was certainly time for a little strategic clean up! Wanting to keep my brows lush, just a bit more tidy, I headed to Ramy Spa to see Ramy, the ultimate eyebrow wizard who has the knack for determining the perfect brow shape for your face down to a science. Ramy has tended to literally every celeb imaginable (even my personal icon Lauren Hutton!), so I knew I was in good hands. Once he was finished with me and I was totally blown away, and just had to get his tips to try and recreate some of his skills at home! Read the rest of this entry »
Last week, I went to an event that marked 100 days until the Olympics and got to interview some athletes. I am so excited for this year’s Olymics to come– most of all, because I want to see 19 year old short track speed skater JR Celski win. The Federal Way, Washington native has had a tough past few months. While training, the blade of one of his skates went through his leg and tore a muscle. Some thought he wouldn’t be able to recover in time for the Olympics but JR has been speeding through recovery the same way he competes in the rink. This Olympic athlete is in for the gold!
