Thoughts: I challenge you to find a makeup artist (or beauty junkie!) who doesn’t have the original Great Lash in their bags. It’s an essential–and the #1 in America–for many. Not me, though. I know, I know, sacrilege. I can just hear the cries of outrage! But the old formula didn’t work for my super skinny lashes. The new and improved Great Lash BIG though? That’s a different story! This one I’m loving. The brush is bigger and the formula is more volumizing–just what I like. It went on clump-free and I didn’t have to brush though lashes with my lash comb. Fabulous!
Best for: Great Lash fans everywhere… But also girls who like a lighter look. This one’s a hit for everyone because of its super-buildable formula.

Last week, I attended the Dove PitiCure Spa Pavilion at the South Street Seaport in New York. Dove created a mobile free spa treatment called a PitiCure, which basically is to your underarms what a pedicure is to your feet! There were individual rooms with licensed professionals performing an underarm exfoliation, a massage, and cleansing treatment. You also got to take home a bottle of their latest product, the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Deodorant, which minimizes the look and feel of underarm hair over time. Not to mention it has a great scent! (I took home the nature fresh, and I LOVE the smell).  But in case you missed it, they have a step-by-step formula for doing your own PitiCure at home!

I recently visited Sweet Lily, one of my favorite nail spas in New York, for the first time in FOREVER to try out their new Lemon Berry pedicure. I know, I have a tough life… Or in my case, tough soles. You see, my poor feet take a beating every day. Not only do I run around in awful, torturous shoes, I also love being barefoot–and in my apartment, with hardwood floors, that means my feet get pretty gross pretty quickly. TMI? Sorry!! SO, thank goodness for Sweet Lily. The pedicure sloughed off dead skin using lemons (which contains natural alphahydroxies) and strawberry puree (which soothes skin) and left my skin ready to face the summer!
