#16: Eat more eggs. Lecithin is a vital nutritional component that your body needs to repair tissues because it allows the body to build healthy new cells with strong cell membranes. Eggs are a great source for this basic building block of good health. Challenge yourself to eat better in 2009!

Lately I’ve been having serious short hair envy and was almost ready to go for the chop, when Francesca from Cutler Salon talked me down from the edge. “Let’s do a faux-bob!” she said, tucking handfuls of my long hair under, “like the girls at Chris Benz!” What could be better, I thought, short hair without the commitment! Francesca walked me through the faux-bob in five steps and it’s super easy. To recreate the look you’ll need: a curling iron, some duck-bill clips, two hair elastics, a hair- brush and a volumizing spray (I love Cutler’s — it’s alcohol free and won’t weigh hair down).
